We use The Good and The Beautiful math curriculum. The pages are colorful and informative, include games and hands-on activities in the lessons, have a review section at the end of each lesson, and are split into only 120 total lessons for 4-days per week for 30 weeks.
All About Reading is incorporated into K-2nd grade daily learning. This top rated phonics curriculum has children reading stories from day one and only 25-30 lessons per year. It includes a workbook with hands-on activities to solidify phonetic knowledge and practice in a fun way.
Students use The Good and The Beautiful writing handbooks for all of elementary ages, which introduce handwriting through 100 fun and colorful pages. Cursive writing starts at the 3rd Grade level. This is a self-paced class and students may move up in levels as ready.
Students in these grades will work through Mosdos reading and language arts textbooks and workbooks. These books incorporate age appropriate stories, comprehension, poetry, vocabulary, and writing skills.
Beginning in First Grade, students will go through All About Spelling curriculum. With weekly spelling lists based on phonetic sounds, students learn how to spell in a way that sticks.

Students work through unit studies created by our teachers at Roots that focus on basic social skills, the community, government, and learning Biblical principals. They study different topics each week through stories, hands-on activities, and games.
Students work through different Tuttle Twins introductory books to learn about society, government, and basic economics. They read the stories together and complete different activities to further knowledge, covering a total of 6 books each year.
Students will use the Tuttle Twins America’s History books to understand the how and why we became a country. This history curriculum tells the story through the twins going through different lessons in a relatable way. Incorporated throughout the class is hands-on activities, games, and fun analogies to help topics stick.
Each session, students learn basic geography skills, and complete unit studies to gain introductory knowledge about specific continents, countries, and states. Students complete Evan-Moore geography workbooks and the US 50 States Campfire Curriculum is loosely used to help with the state studies.
Students will focus on studying the 50 states in an in depth way through the Campfire Curriculum. They will learn fun facts, create a bucket list of places they would want to travel in each state, and complete a fun hands-on activity to help remember what they learned. They work on states one section at a time and practice memorizing the placement of each.
